1. Who we are

Blue Sky Mortgage Group is the operating name of Blue Sky Paragon Mortgage Corporation, a mortgage brokerage registered with the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) under the Mortgage Brokers Act. Our registered office is 206-7080 River Road, Richmond, BC V6X 1X5.

This policy explains how we handle personal information under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

2. What we collect

Through this website, we collect only what you choose to send us through a contact or pre-approval form:

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• What you told us about your situation — purchase, renewal, refinance, or other
• Anything else you write in the message field

We do not ask for your SIN, banking credentials, or supporting financial documents through this website. If you go on to submit a mortgage application, that information is collected separately and directly, and you will be told at that point who it is being shared with.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, discuss your situation, and — if you ask us to — approach lenders on your behalf. We do not use website enquiries for anything else.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With lenders and mortgage insurers, when you have asked us to submit an application on your behalf
• With service providers who operate our email and website infrastructure, bound to protect it
• Where we are required to by law, or by BCFSA in the course of its regulatory oversight

5. A note on trust funds

Our registration does not include authorization to maintain trust accounts, which means we do not hold client money in trust. Funds move between you, your lawyer or notary, and the lender — not through us.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become applications are kept only as long as needed to follow up, then deleted. Records connected to an actual mortgage application are retained for the period required of a registered brokerage under BC law.

7. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies necessary for the pages to function. If analytics are in use, they measure aggregate traffic patterns and are not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

8. Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — subject to records we are legally required to keep. Email [email protected] or call 778-991-3289 and we will respond within one business day.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
